Railway Minister barrage against TMC MP who said, Indian soil is not fit for the bullet train
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has repeatedly condemned the statement of Trinamool Congress(TMC) MP Nusrat Jahan in the Lok Sabha against the bullet train project in the country and repeatedly reiterated that TMC MPs should be ashamed.
A day after Nusrat said that Indian soil is not fit for the bullet train to operate, Ashwin slammed Nusrat and called her statement shameful.
Attack Mamata's party for having doubt in our country's ability by invoking TMC's 'Maa, Maati, Manush' slogan, Minister Ashwini said, those who talks about, 'Maa, Maati, Manush' do not trust Maa(mother) nor trust Maati(soil). What kind of Manush(humans) are these?
Who says Indian soils are not ment for Bullet trains? It's matter of shame. Very shameful it is. We should trust our engineers and our abilities. It won't work like this. How long we have to depend on foreigner? You have to trust our engineers and our abilities, urged minister Ashwini.
